Mote Audio in Google Slides EDIT Mode

I worked tirelessly to record Mote audio directions on a 22-slide presentation only to find out that NO STUDENTS saw them in EDIT mode of Google Slides. I have not confirmed whether they heard them in Presentation mode or not, but it really only makes sense for them to access the audio directions in EDIT mode while they work on the assignment. Please make a change! I assigned the slideshow within Google Classroom for all students to "have a copy", so I thought that was the issue initially when they couldn't even see the option to listen to them; that audio wasn't copying over. I used really funny voices, too!
