Turn off Transcription

Feature Request
Maybe I can already do this, but I would like to be able to hide transcripts. I would like to give an oral test with the dictation of sounds, words, and sentences. However, the answers are in the transcripts box, so that is not going to work. Thank you.

    Hey Sandra - you can definitely do this, just click on the Mote Chrome extension and change your speech-to-text preference to 'Off'

      I may be wrong, but I don’t think this hides the transcript from the students. This option seems to only affect the user who personally turns it off in the extension.

        Hi Dustin & Sandra - I assure you that if you disable text to speech, this disables for everyone.

          This might be true when recording, but when generating speech, I do not see the option to turn off the transcript (text to speech)

            That is a good point! In this case, you can edit the mote once generated, and delete all of the text.

              Yes, that’s what I’ve been doing, but it just adds to an already long process.
